Video: During Car Crash In Conroe, A Dog Was Thrown Out Of An SUV.
The dog was thrown from the car after its owner swerved to the side of the road and hit a parked trailer.
The Cane Creek Volunteer Fire Department is searching for a dog that was ejected from an SUV during a crash in Conroe.
This happened on July 1, right next to the fire station on FM 2090.
A man was driving a Chevy Tahoe when it swerved off the road and crashed into the back of a parked trailer, officials said. It wasn’t until the firefighters looked at the surveillance video that they realized a dog had been in the Tahoe and had been thrown from the SUV.
In the video, you see the Tahoe hit the trailer, causing it to lift onto its front tires before bouncing back to the ground. In a cloud of dust, you see a dog being thrown out of Tahoe. He seemed to land on his back before quickly getting up and running away.
Cane Creek firefighters said they were putting out food and water for the dog, but they didn’t see it. They also said they haven’t been able to speak to the dog’s owner or his family yet, so they don’t know the dog’s breed or name.
The man driving the Tahoe was injured—he suffered a broken leg, among other injuries—but he is expected to be okay.
